So, shall we get to sleep? I'll turn off the lights, okay? Good night. I can hear the cries of the cicadas... It's so peaceful... Want to go out on our day off? I think it's around time for viewing the maple leaves. I took a glimpse about it on the news but... we have to look it up. Ah, on the path I use to go to work, there's this large house with a big garden and... Today on my way back, I saw a bit of smoke coming out of it... Then, when I went around the garden to check; Ah, it wasn't a fire. Someone was baking sweet potatoes on the fallen leaves. I thought oh, how nice... Didn't we use to do that in kindergarten and elementary school? It's been such a long time ago that I don't remember it very well... But if I'm correct, we did do it at the school. Nowadays they sell it at convenience stores and supermarkets, of course they taste good but... There was something special about baking them on the fallen leaves. We live in an apartment, so we can't do it... It's getting pretty cold even though it's autumn... It can get pretty hard to sleep with a cold futon and feet... But I'm fine with having only one futon, because... If we cuddle together like this, it's warm and relaxing... I feel like we can sleep peacefully... Really... Warm...
