The Slime's Appearance

2. The Slime's Appearance ... I came all the way to the back but... ... There aren't even any goblins... ... There's no indication of any living thing here, let alone any goblins... There aren't even any lizards or bats... ... What an eerie cave... ... ... I wonder if it's undiscovered... There seems to be nothing here... Hmm...? ... The back wall is glistening slightly... ... I didn't notice that before... ... ... (Drool...Drool...) (The female warrior doesn't notice the sounds of the slime, and so the story continues) ... ... Is this... moss...? No, it's different... It's slimey... ... Some sort of mucus...? ... In any case, there seems to be no goblins here... ... ... There's nothing for it... I should head back... (Drool... Drool...) Who's there!? (She notices the sound and instantly readys for combat) ... ... A goblin...? No... it's something else... ... ... ...There's no one there... ... I'm sure I heard something just now... ... (Drool... Drool...) (From here until the end, the slime noises continue to sound from the background) ... There! ...Wha... ... A... Slime...? (Drool... Drool...) ... ... So you're the source of this glistening mucus... (Drool... Drool...) Fuu... It's body is large, but it's movements seem to be slow, so there doesn't seem to be much to worry about... (Drool... Drool...) (From here on, the slime's sounds are constant­) But if someone were to accidentally enter this cave... they could be in danger of being attacked by this slime... ... I should deal with it now... ... ... Don't think badly of me (Slash...) (Sound of the slime being cut into 2) ... It keeps moving even when cleaved in two... ... Well, it is a slime...
